Day 1 Chengdu – Leshan – Emei Mountain

Total driving time is around 4 hours (2‑2.5 hours from Chengdu to Leshan, then another 1 hour onward to Emei Mountain). After breakfast, depart for Leshan. Enjoy a boat cruise to admire the Leshan Giant Buddha, the world’s largest stone‑carved Maitreya Buddha, viewed from the river. Afterwards visit Suji Ancient Town to wander authentic old‑west‑Sichuan streets. You may opt to explore local teahouses and sample regional snacks.

Day 2 Emei Mountain – Chengdu

2‑2.5‑hour drive back to Chengdu. After breakfast, discover Emei Mountain Scenic Area and head for the Golden Summit. Round‑trip cable car and scenic shuttle bus tickets are included; approx. 2 hours of walking is required. As a dual World Natural and Cultural Heritage site, Mount Emei is a sacred Buddhist mountain boasting stunning natural scenery. Look out for wild macaques along mountain trails, a memorable hiking highlight. Transfer back to Chengdu in the late afternoon.
