Itinerary （BEST TIME TO TRAVEL · APR – OCT）

Day 1

Arrival in Guiyang Airport / high-speed rail pick-up and transfer to hotel.

Self-exploration optional: Jiaxiu Tower, Qianling Park, Erqi Road Food Street.

Overnight: Guiyang

Day 2 | Guiyang – Anshun – Xingyi (2hrs to Anshun, then 3hrs to Xingyi)

Morning: Drive to Anshun for Huangguoshu Waterfall visit (environmental protection bus & one-way escalator included). Afternoon: Continue to Xingyi. Pass by Huajiang Canyon Grand Bridge for sightseeing (viewing platform stop, ticket not included).

Overnight: Xingyi

Day 3 | Xingyi – Ziyun (3hrs drive)

Morning: Explore Maling River Gorge (known as Earth’s Most Beautiful Scar) and Wanfenglin Scenic Area (sightseeing shuttle & mini train included, featuring karst peak forest countryside scenery).

Afternoon: Transfer to Getu River.

Overnight: Ziyun Huangheying Hot Spring Hotel or similar

Day 4 | Ziyun – Libo (4hrs drive)

Morning: Visit Getu River Scenic Area. Explore Swallow Cave (April–September, the holy light beam can be witnessed between 9:00–11:00 on sunny days). Watch the Miao intangible heritage spider-man cliff climbing performance. Afternoon: Transfer to Libo.

Overnight: Libo

Day 5 | Libo – Xijiang (3hrs drive)

Morning: Tour Xiaoqikong Scenic Area: Seven-Arch Bridge, Laya Waterfall, 68-Level Waterfall, Water Forest and Wolong Pool. Afternoon: Head to Xijiang, stop at Gaoyao Terraced Fields for viewing (subject to weather). Night tour of Xijiang One Thousand Household Miao Village (environmental protection bus included).

Overnight: Xijiang

Day 6 | Xijiang – Guiyang (2.5hrs drive)

Morning: Discover Xijiang One Thousand Household Miao Village: Viewing Platform, Miao costume experience, Wind & Rain Bridge, Silver Jewelry Street, Miao Museum, Miao singing & dancing performance (11:30). Enjoy Xijiang Long Table Banquet. Afternoon: Return to Guiyang. Stop at Kalau Birdcage Village to watch intangible heritage craftsmen making birdcages (Optional: 1-hour mini birdcage handcraft experience). Visit Danzhai Wanda Town (Optional intangible heritage activities: Batik, ancient grass paper making, Miao embroidery).
