Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Shanghai
Airport pickup and private transfer to your Shanghai hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax and settle in.

Overnight: Shanghai

Day 2 | Shanghai — Modern City & Historic Streets
Ascend to the 118th floor of Shanghai Tower for spectacular panoramic views of Shanghai. Explore the Lujiazui Financial District, then discover the charming Wukang Road, including a complimentary coffee.

Continue to the Bund to admire Shanghai’s famous historic international architecture, followed by Nanjing Road. In the evening, enjoy the illuminated skyline and Huangpu River night views.

Overnight: Shanghai

Day 3 | Shanghai → Suzhou — Classical Gardens & Water Town Charm
Travel to Suzhou, the renowned “Venice of the East.” Visit Lingering Garden, one of China’s finest classical gardens, followed by Tiger Hill and historic Hanshan Temple.

Stroll through Pingjiang Road, a historic canal-side neighborhood, and enjoy a traditional hand-rowed boat ride for an authentic taste of old Suzhou.

Day 4 | Suzhou → Hangzhou — Silk, West Lake & Old Hangzhou
Visit the China National Silk Museum before traveling to Hangzhou.

Discover the beauty of West Lake, then explore Hu Qing Yu Tang and the historic Hefang Street, where traditional shops, local crafts and old Hangzhou culture come together.

Optional Evening Self-Explore:
Xizi Corridor · Blind-Box Concert — a free public folk performance. The program is unannounced and subject to weather conditions.

Overnight: Hangzhou

Day 5 | Hangzhou → Nanjing — Longjing Tea & Historic Nanjing
Begin the day with a visit to a Longjing Tea Garden, where you can enjoy a traditional tea-tasting experience and discover one of China’s most celebrated tea cultures.

Continue to Nanjing and visit Zhonghua Gate, one of the best-preserved ancient city gates in China. In the evening, explore Confucius Temple and Laomendong Historic District, enjoying the atmosphere, architecture and local food of historic Nanjing.

Day 6 | Nanjing — History, Culture & Mountain Scenery
Visit Niushou Mountain, known for its impressive Buddhist cultural heritage and spectacular architecture.

Continue to the Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum(replaced by Meiling Palace. on Monday), an important landmark of modern Chinese history, followed by the Museum of the Six Dynasties, offering insights into one of the most culturally significant periods in Nanjing’s history.

Overnight: Nanjing

Day 7 | Nanjing — Departure
After breakfast, enjoy free time until your departure. Transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey.
