Itinerary

Day 1 | Arrival in Beijing

Welcome to Beijing! Upon arrival, your English-speaking guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure and prepare for your journey through China’s ancient capitals.

Day 2 | Imperial Beijing & Traditional Hutongs

Visit Tiananmen Square, the symbolic heart of China, before exploring the magnificent Forbidden City, including the Treasure Gallery and the Nine-Dragon Screen (or Prince Gong’s Mansion if tickets are unavailable).

Climb Jingshan Park for a breathtaking panoramic view over the Forbidden City. Later, enjoy a traditional Hutong rickshaw tour, discovering old Beijing’s charming alleyways and local life.

In the evening, explore Shichahai at your own pace, where you can relax in cafés or enjoy the lively bar street.

Day 3 | The Great Wall Experience

Travel to the magnificent Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the best-preserved sections of this UNESCO World Heritage Site. A round-trip cable car or chairlift and an exciting toboggan ride are included for a comfortable and memorable visit.

Return to the city to admire the exterior of the iconic Bird’s Nest Stadium and Water Cube.

Optional Evening: Enjoy a famous Peking Roast Duck Dinner, followed by an exciting Chinese Acrobatics Show.

Day 4 | Beijing – Xi’an by High-Speed Train

Start your morning at the Temple of Heaven, where you can join a relaxing Tai Chi experience with local residents.

Continue to the beautiful Summer Palace, including a scenic Dragon Boat cruise (available in non-winter seasons).

In the afternoon, board a high-speed train to Xi’an. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you at the station and transfer you to the hotel.

Optional Evening: Visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and the spectacular Great Tang All Day Mall, where you may also enjoy an optional Hanfu photography experience.

Day 5 | Discover Ancient Xi’an

Visit the world-famous Terracotta Warriors Museum (wireless tour receiver included).

Experience authentic local culture with a visit to a traditional Yaodong Cave Dwelling, where you’ll learn to make Chinese dumplings with a local family.

Continue to a specialized workshop and take part in a hands-on miniature Terracotta Warrior crafting experience, where you can learn about the traditional techniques used to create these iconic figures.

Later, walk along the magnificent Ancient City Wall, then stroll through the lively Muslim Quarter and discover its local atmosphere and street food.

Optional Evening: Enjoy the famous Tang Dynasty Music & Dance Show with an Imperial Banquet.

Day 6 | Departure from Xi’an
