Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Lhasa | Altitude Acclimatisation

Private pick‑up upon arrival at Lhasa Gonggar Airport. Transfer to your oxygen‑supplied hotel. Take an easy rest to adapt to the high‑altitude environment. No heavy sightseeing is arranged today. You may take a casual stroll nearby to feel the city atmosphere.

Day 2 Drepung Monastery + Thangka Experience/Norbulingka+ Barkhor / Jokhang Surroundings

Morning visit Drepung Monastery, the largest Gelugpa monastery of Tibet built on hillside. In the afternoon, choose to join an optional hands‑on Thangka‑painting workshop or choose to Norbulingka UNESCO‑listed royal Tibetan garden, former summer residence with palaces, courtyards and lush green grounds.

Afterwards proceed to Jokhang Temple perimeter, observe local pilgrims circling the sacred circuit.

Important Travel Notes for Foreign Visitors

‑ Independent travel is not permitted for foreign nationals.

-The Tibet Entry Permit must be applied 10‑15 working days in advance.
